Sophie Chatzi

Sophie Chatzi started Tango in 2017 and from the first point she fell in love with the music and the dance. From that day on she fully dedicated her life to Tango by practicing every day with her partner Grigoris Adamidis new techniques with different maestros around the world. During this period she felt the need to share her tango knowledge, which led her to start teaching with her partner to people in Cyprus.

After a long time of hard consistent training, Sophie and her partner decided in 2022 to compete in the European Cup which led them in the finals of Tango, Vals and Milonga.

In 2023 they took part in the European Cup finishing in the finals and Italian Tango Cup which lead them in the 3rd place.

A few months later, they visited Buenos Aires to take part in the World Tango Champions (Mundial BA) resulting in the semifinals of the World Tango Cup.
