Christiana Neofytou - Cyprus

Christiana Neofytou has been immersed in Argentine Tango since 2011. In 2015, she moved to Buenos Aires to pursue her professional career as a dancer, DJ, and event organizer. There, she performed in celebrated venues like El Beso, La Milonga de Siri, Motivo Tango, and in the colorful streets of Caminito. She was also a finalist at the 2016 Mundialito competition.

She trained as a Tango DJ with maestros Horacio Godoy, Guillermo Nieto, and Marcelo Rojas. Known for her musicality and sensitivity to the energy of the dance floor, she crafts tandas that resonate with dancers’ moods and rhythms.

Since 2020, Christiana has been based in Cyprus, where she regularly DJs at local milongas, festivals, and marathons, including Cyprus Tango Camp, Elegante Tango Marathon, and Limassol Tango Festival. In 2024, she returned to Buenos Aires, DJing at beloved local spots like La Rosa Milonga.

Her musical preferences center around the powerful orchestras of Aníbal Troilo, Juan D’Arienzo, and Ricardo Tanturi. With an intuitive connection to dancers and a versatile style, she adapts effortlessly to any tango atmosphere.
